Fireworks anyone?
This Fourth of July for 2009 was awesome. I loved the fireworks and the crowds. I was in Lodi, CA this night and it was well worth it, considering Stockton was pretty dead in terms of pyrotechnics. Lodi kind of has the perfect balance between a small-town environment and a big-city adventure scene; there’s definitely quite a bit to do there if you look hard enough. This kind of brings me to my new point, and it will probably cause some “sparks” in your mind (pun intended):
Do you remember your first crush? Your first love? Your first “anything” that struck up your hormones? Hmmm, that’s cool, because I don’t. Not anymore, at least. It’s so weird to try and think about all the different aspects of being young and dating, isn’t it? My case in point: you always want to keep your self-respect/dignity, but sometimes you can’t help yourself and you make “mistakes”. Now, just to put this out there, I am a big believer in “Everything happens for a reason”. I really vest my opinions and thoughts in that “lifestyle”; it gives me a mellow outlook on a lot of stuff that would otherwise stress me out. So, going back to the topic, how do you handle situations where you want to “do” something but your conscience tells you not to? I mean, come on, we’ve all been in sticky situations before. There’s probably a few people in your life right now that you would not mind getting some more “intimate time” with, but remember that doesn’t necessarily mean sex. How about when it does involve sex? Should it be something you regret, or should it be OK to have your nights of fun? Hmmm, most of you probably won’t write your personal experiences in the comments (and I support that), but leave your opinion. If you have to answer a question, make it this one: If you had someone you were really attracted to, and aside from a relationship, would you go the whole 9 yards with that person just to satisfy your physical needs for the night, and be OK in the morning? If you wonder why I’m asking, just stay tuned. I’m working on a much bigger project for this blog.

“Lodi kind of has the perfect balance between a small-town environment and a big-city adventure scene; there’s definitely quite a bit to do there if you look hard enough.”
That’s crap. :]
stockton did seem to die out for a few years now for 4th of July fireworks. i’m glad lodi had some sort of excitement and within a short distance from stockton, it didn’t turn out to be a bad location.
